St. Rita and St. Augustine joint attendance boundary for September 2020

posted Jan 9, 2020, 12:43 PM by School Websites

t. Rita and St. Augustine Joint Attendance Boundary for September 2020
The Board has taken another step forward on its path toward the future opening of a new elementary school for the student populations of St. Rita and St. Augustine schools.

On the evening of December 17, 2019, a consolidated attendance boundary was approved for the two schools. The boundary serves to allow the new school project to be eligible to receive capital funding from the Province. The project was approved as a Capital Priority of the Board in September 2019, and a business case has been submitted to the Ministry of Education. We are now awaiting a decision regarding whether funding will be provided.

A copy of the report to the Board regarding the project and the approved boundary revision, can be found on pages 37-44 of the December 17, 2019 Board Agenda.
